Q: Why should I use Baze Investigations?

A: At Baze Investigations we will:
    • Earn your business:  We will often try to do it for free, and if payment is ever required (your decision), we will keep your costs as reasonable as possible.
    • Keep your trust: We will keep your information completely confidential.
    • Do professional, top-quality work:  With our experience, contacts, and tools, we will find people who could not be found otherwise.
    • Not break the law: You will not have to worry about any of our work becoming a liability for you, legally or otherwise.
    • Be responsive and polite:  We will try to serve you as quickly as reasonably possible and treat you with respect.

Q: What information do I need?

A: Any information can be helpful.  The more you have, the better.  Here are examples of useful information:

Q: What do I do with the information?

A: First of all, try our free search links to see if you can find your person on your own.  If that doesn't work, send us an email with the following information:

    • Who you're looking for
    • Why you are looking for this person
    • All information you know about this person (see the examples in the table above).

Q: What will it cost to get started?
A: Nothing, unless you decide to try other options later in the investigation process.  If I can't find your person using various searches at our disposal, and you decide you want to move forward with some other kind of search (which does have an associated cost), then we will discuss your options and you may choose to pay at that time.  The cost for additional searches varies dramatically, from $10 upward.  If you aren't happy with the results, don't think moving forward will be productive, or simply don't want to pay for anything else, you can walk away without paying a cent.

Q: What are the steps you take to find someone?

A: The process can be quite different in each case, depending on a variety of variables, for example, what information you already have.  In a nutshell, here's the process we use:

    1. You try to search for free on your own.  If you still need help...
    2. You send us information and we do a free search (or possibly several) for your person.
    3. If the person is found, you get that information and we're done.
    4. If we don't find the person, we will present other options and you can decide whether you would like to move forward*.
    5. Eventually, either we find your person or you decide to stop searching.

*We will let you know if it appears that continuing to search will not be productive.

Q: Why do you sometimes work for free?
A: I like finding people, and especially enjoy reuniting families and friends.  Often it takes very little effort.  If you're happy about the great service you get here, you will be comfortable telling your friends or otherwise giving us a referral.  Sometimes people need to do more complicated, extensive searches, and that's where we earn our money, using professional experience, industry contacts, and exclusive tools.

Q: Will you find anyone for me?
A: No. We will not find celebrities, police officers, politicians, or other public figures.  In some cases we will reserve the right to contact the person you're looking for to verify that he/she is comfortable with the idea of you making contact (for example, in the case of someone trying to track down an "old flame").
